This section highlights the water razor hones quarried in Thuringia Germany. Arguably, they are the most highly coveted straight razor finishers. In my experience, they are the most well known finisher, and one of the easiest types of stone to use. In addition to the branded ‘Escher’ stones, I’ve included Thuringen water stones branded by other companies, and a few unbranded stones also.
