Boxed Blue Green Escher

Claimed by many to be the best razor hones ever made, Escher razor hones get a lot of love from the straight razor community.

I’ve owned many Escher razor hones in many sizes and colors; including several boxed 5” Celebrated Water Stones and a boxed 10” yellow-green bench stone.

Out of all of those very fine Thuringen stones, I prefer the darker colored stones, and the blue green examples are my favorite.

This is one of the finer examples that I have owned.
