There were at least two different blade cases, this one here had 4 slots for blades in cases. The other one that I am familiar with held 3 blades out of cases. The 4-up case was good for storage and keeping mint-condition backup blades on hand. The 3-up case seems to be better suited for keeping honed blades ready to go in an active rotation.
These storage units may look cool, but the build quality here is pretty cheesy. The outer covering is thin and not durable, the slotted insert was made from junk wood and covered in some sort of flocking. They are neat to own but I do wish the Rolls Razor company put more thought into making these accessories.
