The strop dressing offered by the Rolls Razor company is actually an abrasive paste. The razors that have cork strops are often found with these tubs of dressing but occasionally I do find a leather Rolls strop with this red paste worked into it. While this is not the finest paste I have ever used, it will suffice, and it most definitely helped the edges created on the Rolls Hone become a bit more palatable.
