7/8 faux frameback, pre 1890s. Horn scales and lead wedge. The scales were cracked at each end on the inside. The wedge was bent and corroded. I did a light restoration that included sanding the blade a bit to remove active rust but to leave a lot of the original patina. The scales were epoxied and filled and lightly sanded then oiled. The wedge was sanded and reinstalled using a nickel silver pin, and stainless steel washers. The pivot pin is also nickel silver but I added triple stacked washers.
