The Midnight Fire I is a two component strop; on top, there’s the uber-supple Midnight Steerhide, and it’s backed with a sweetheart piece of 100% Flax Linen Type 1 Fire Hose. The leather is 2.75” wide, and the fire hose is 2.5” wide.
