Technically, this block of Binsui is not a Tomo Nagura; it was cut to be used for Omotesuri, which is the practice of using a natural stone to dress the surface of the working stone. It would be used on a larger Binsui Toishi, or even Kaisei-do. However, it most definitely can be used to raise a slurry for sharpening purposes also. Most Binsui do not come with a Tomo Nagura, so this is a very luxurious treat to have on hand.   2.5 x 2.0 x 2.4 / 509 g
