This one isn’t fully branded as many other Escher hones, but the chalice cup in the middle of the label shows the E & Co. mark, which identifies it as an authentic Escher. There was no end label; but it is, most definitely, a Dark Blue stone.
Escher hones are arguably the most well-known option for sharpening straight razors. I consider them to be fully functional historical collector’s items.
