I had never seen a Gem single edge razor in a wood case before, so I picked this one up. The razor is in pretty nice shape, with some of the usual brassing, spotting, oxidation and so on. The lid clamps the blade tightly. The blade bank is oxidized and spotted but otherwise in great shape. Inside there are two rusty original blades and an inspection tag from when the set was first manufactured. The wood case is worn, with a lot of ‘patina’.
