This one is a gem, a one-off custom that can be recreated but will never be a full-on production model. Breaking in the leather and creating the patina you see here is just too labor intensive.
The length is a bit shorter length for maximum control.
The heavily worked hide is what I call Hortigo; a combo of horsehide and latigo. Remember that baseball glove you had in highschool that fit you like, well - a glove? It’s like that.
The draw is heavier than my other strops. I’d rate it as a heavy medium to a lighter heavy.
